Self-Acceptance Sound Bath for Kids and Teens
With the month often centered around love approaching, we invite kids and teens to pause and turn some of that care inward. This Self-Acceptance Sound Bath is a warm, calming experience designed to help young people slow down, relax, and connect with themselves in a meaningful and supportive way.
Facilitated by Melanie D. Davis, LCMHC, alongside Edna Ramos, Sound Bowl Instrument Facilitator, this gentle session uses soothing sound, guided relaxation, and intentional rest to support emotional regulation, mindfulness, and self-acceptance. Participants will be encouraged to notice their thoughts and feelings without judgment and to practice kindness toward themselves, just as they are.
This all-ages event is especially fitting during a season focused on self-love, offering tools that help build self-awareness, inner calm, and emotional care that can be carried beyond the session and into everyday life.
