As a third-generation Italian American, Kristen seeks to help diverse populations feel seen, and she is passionate about social equity and justice. Kristen has a certification from the American School Counselor Association as a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Specialist. She desires to work with young people in feeling seen as valuable people rather than for their disabilities, in assisting parents to learn how to advocate for their child, and in teaching children how to advocate for themselves.

The world feels lonely when you feel like “you’re the only one.” Kristen seeks to help children realize that they aren’t alone, and they can be successful. Additionally, Kristen has significant training in being trauma-informed and in mindfulness. She also specializes in solution-focused therapy and in grief-and-loss.

In her spare time, Kristen enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, going to concerts, snowboarding, reading, continuing her professional development, and trying to find a beach whenever possible.
