About Lauren…
Lauren, the owner/operator of Salt Lake Occupational Therapy (SLOT), brings a wealth of experience with over 5 years in the field. Originally starting her career in San Diego, CA, Lauren relocated to SLC in 2021, bringing her expertise and passion to her own private practice. Her extensive knowledge spans sensory processing, play, activities of daily living (ADLs), and feeding, making her a valuable asset to our clients.
Lauren obtained her master's degrees from San Jose State University in 2017, demonstrating her dedication to continuous learning and professional growth. She has furthered her expertise by completing her certification in Aryes Sensory Integration through USC, as well as achieving advanced certification in DIR Floortime through ICDL. Moreover, Lauren has dedicated the past 3 years to expanding her knowledge as a sensory-based feeding therapist.
As your dedicated occupational therapist, Lauren's primary focus is on supporting your child's development, improving your understanding of sensory processing, and promoting regulation to enhance participation in all areas of life. Her person-centered approach ensures that neurodiversity is celebrated, and she is committed to delivering care that supports sensory processing, play, learning, and overall development.
